Drivetrain Kenne Bell S/C ?
Kenne Bell S/C ?
NO, i dont have one. But i was just curious if anyone had fitted a MCS with one. KB Makes a .87L S/C, couple that with one of RMWs strokers, and fun should be had.
What is the displacement for our stock S/C? I have searched for a little bit, but wasnt able to turn anything up.
And yes, i am aware that major fab work would be needed, but that silly top mount needs to go away anyways. Also, i am aware of Jans work with the rotex, but honestly, a silent S/C isnt a S/C, might as well go w/ a turbo at that point. I like hearing a scream over everything else.

Regaurding your comments on sound. The rotrex is choosen due to the power and the way in which in delivers it, sound is good, but there are things that, especielly with RMW, comes first and that thing is performance. People have equipped our cars with m62's but it was very popular.

RedSkunk: Thanks for the info, i guess i really do suck at searching. Looking in the wrong places as usual. Funny though, the smallest KB is twice the size of our current thingie.
Oh i know why the rotrex is chosen. It is an excellent supercharger, with lots of positives. I think a KB w/ a stroker kit and air-water I/C can preform just as well, and maybe even provide a bit more torque down low, then the rotrex. Plus hearing a KB scream is a beautiful sound all together. KBs in general are very good S/Cs as well, a TON better then what Eaton offers as 'standard' too. Good friend of mine got me hooked with 03 Cobra w/ 2.6H KB.
Granted, i could spend less money all together and just buy a Cobra, and in the end have a bit more power. But where is the fun in that ? I guess i can go ahead though, and assume no one has attempted this here. Good, i enjoy being slightly different.

It would be good, but most of the kenne bells offered are 1.5, 1.7, 2.2l size chargers etc. Have yet to see any smaller kenne bells.
But with that being said, if you can, more power to you and it would be awesome!!!

I was looking for a video of the W2W 72 Nova with the twin-Rotrex'ed LS2 that made somewhere around 1100WHP(
) and saw this.

Well Jan....i am anxiously awaiting to see what you come up with. Unless you are talking about the Rotrex again... :P
And Kenne Bell makes S/Cs as small as .87, which was intended for a 2.0L PT Cruiser. I think they have stopped making the kit, but the S/C could still be found. If i want high RPM and silent power, i will just go turbo. But that isnt what i want.
