Drivetrain Side Exit Exhaust
I feel as though its almost a necessity to have at least some sort of exhaust on my Mini with it being a standard. Its so much easier to heel toe rev match downshifting. Even taking off from a start just being able to hear the engine makes working the clutch that much easier. I was so happy when I got my Invidia and now that I'm used to it I'm looking forward to getting a header to help increase the tone a little bit more.
plus 1, you can see the carbon when you rev.
the concept is cool, but dual exhaust L/R side would be cool. Im not to keen on a straight pipe ( no muff) sound, sounds like a honda,

OK. Quick video. Mounted the camera up for some footage. I still have to do in-car, and flyby, and what not. Enjoy!

-Frank,can you share what this project ran ,price wise?
Ok. Will do flyby vid tomorrow. I'd try for a tunnel blast, however there aren't any near me...at all.
I always looked for tunnels, but alas, no luck. With the new setup though, I don't need them.

Well, it sure sounds pretty darn good to me...
I'll take one!
How much would it cost for your guy to fabricate up the section that fits up to the joint on a Milltek? It's just a slip fit after the center resonator. Geez, I think even I could do this. Oh, I don't have time--too busy working.

The sound doesn't do it justice in this video for some reason. ?

You are a marauder of the highest order,Frank! The town folk will hunt you with torches at nightfall, like Frankenstine's monster! That is so deliciously obnoxious!I LOVE IT!!!MOTOR ON,rather MARAUD ON!
I like how it sounds at lower RPM, but the rasp at the higher RPMs....esh no thanks. As long as you enjoy, and i dont have to hear it daily, have fun with it !! I do like the fact you are trying to think outside the box as much as possible.
Wow, you said what I was thinking but much more eloquently!
There are times where that 19 year old punk rocker with blue spiky hair from my yesteryear comes out & I'd drive this thing up and down the street flipping everyone I see off.
Truly creative application of the side exit. But one quick question, why not the driver's side?

Originally was going to do both sides, then after talking it over with the guys at the shop, we decided only to do the passenger side. 1) lessens the chance for me to be breathing in exhuast fumes if just sitting in traffic or idling, 2) the drivers side would have been more difficult. 3) doing both sides would have been a PITA
