Best Deep Burbly MCS Exhaust?

Building a set of mods and deciding on the catback...

I am looking for the deepest, burbliest, most aggressive sounding exhaust possible.

I want it to sound like a race car, however, i do NOT want ricey resonating edgy sound, not an annoying sound...i want to have no drone at highway speed and be able to hear the radio...

I am not adding a header so it will just be catback alone...

Cost is a factor but not a huge one as most are similar in price...

Whats the best exhaust for this...

Thanks!
Randy

check out some of the exhaust videos on youtube, they're not the best but they will give you some idea of what the different exhausts sound like

I have the Miltek and like that sound. the Magnaflow can get droney at high RPMs. The Borla Sport sounds really nice as well.

exhausts are very subjective. i'd try to go to a local mini meet and sample some exhaust notes in person. that process led me to milltek....but it could take you somewhere else?! anywho, it's a decent chunk of change so i'd take the time and do some research before you pull the trigger. and yes, i know that's easier said than done. it is one mod that people definitely notice...so you want to do it well .

I wouldn't worry about drone too much. You will get used to whatever drone there is in a month or two. Sort of like sensory adaptation...

Another vote for Invidia, (I have it), the Borla Race is throatier, but the Invidia has the best burble on the market, IMO. Even non-MINI owners stop me to ask about it.

The welds and tips are oustanding, too.

I just listened to this one and a few other magnaflow on MCS cars, but this one blew me away...the magnaflow sounds awesome...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDWnkb5c2qA&NR=1

I liked the invidia youtube clips too, but not as much as the magnaflow...and its cheaper...

But i have to get the NEW version with y instead of t connection right?

What do yall think?

Randy
