Drivetrain 300 HP MCS
$37k in upgrades? I quickly added up what was listed, I was very generous, and came up with roughly $23k in parts. That was without installation, so $37k is in the realm. Many forget to add installation to prices.

Perhaps someday vendors that are making aftermarket engines will do a Engine Dyno and then a chassis Dyno run to see what the real % difference is. I wish I could say that I have done it but not with w Mini engine yet.
You would be correct at 15 % I used 25% just to give them a little credit.

In general mods are seen as a negative investment in a car. The prospective buyer gets worried because you removed factory approved parts and slapped on whatever you wanted. Also, most buyers will see someone who will mod a car as somone who will beat it to hell on a track, street, wherever. So because of that, excessive mods tend to lower value.
Wow a mini at a dealer with lambos, porsche, and all the top dogs. Thats just funny to see. I work over by this place and that mini is by far the cheapest car there. It's was most likely a microsoft employees toy for the parking lots.

I'm up here in WA visiting some family and I went and checked this puppy out. It's over at the Park Place Ltd in Bellevue, WA. The sales rep gave me a list of all the stuff added to the car.
It's got $22,121.53 worth of parts in it
and $15,499.00 worth of labor
The list of mods goes on and on, but I doubt it has 300wHP.
The seats are beautiful (Sparco DTM's $4,100.00 that they list as the price), but I couldn't see driving in those other than on the track. I'm 5'10, 155lbs and they fit VERY snug.
