2.75 is not a common pipe so chances are your exhaust shop wont have it.

So, now i wonder if i should just do a 2.5" instead of a 3" CBE, i doubt i'll swap the turbo at any point in the foreseeable future (lets say 5 yrs). If anything, the 3" DP to 2.5" CBE seems like the way to go, assuming i can pass visual and CARB sniffer once the time comes.

Everythinjg is a bolt on so you can swap back to stock in under 1hr if you want to play it safe.

Is that true? I ask because I installed a DDM on mine not for HP/TQ gains but I had heard that some people were claiming a mile or two mpg increase.

Obviously, I can't tell on either level but I was curious because I've never seen any actual proof.

Thanks,

Anytime you free up the flow for the engine it will produce more power. The key to getting more power ( its a small amount) is to get the coldest air sourse to run through the air filter in order to get the benefit.

of course you wont see as much a result if you don't change the exhaust. more volume in now requires more volume out.
The key to performance gains is to remember the engine as a whole. You cant change one part and expect to feel much (except pully of course), but real gains come from changing multi parts that co join each other.

Which is why so much money is spent to get decent power gains.
