I live in Los Angeles... There has to be someone here that can install it for me.
Randy are you coming this way?

Ryanide, there's a guy in San Pedro that'll do it for you. That's a 30 minute (or less) drive for you or me. Or you can caravan with me next week or the week after to...Colorado.

Randy's doing a pulley party in Phoenix the weekend before Thanksgiving. I think MightyMiniz is doing the trip from LA, and I'm driving down from Vegas.
If you can wait that long (3 months), I think there's still openings.

Ryanide, depends on what kind of pullry,
yes I went to Alanta, Had Randy do the job.
If you go with the NON heat pulley ( Alta or Madness ), just follow randy's instructions ( method # 2 ) in the how-to's
I have the Alta pulley, it's great
But if you can change the oil in your car, you can do the pulley MOD.
need a minimun of two floor jacks, car stands also
Pull a couple of bolts, jack Motor up, your in like Flint! ( No you problaby can't do it as fast as Randy, But his instructions are true )

The Biggest thing is getting the stock pulley off ( no it's not the typical American pulley ) But Randy or MINI Mania will rent one to ya.

Talking to Randy in person, He's really a great guy, will help in any way.
So if you tackle this yourself, give a him a call.

Have a great day!

Had Randy do mine in Cinci a few months ago. It is the single best thing that I have ever done. Very quick and the whine is wonderful along with the Madness intake. Very sweet.

I highly recomment it. HIGHLY.

DO IT as soon as you can. I would not recommend doing it yourself unless you do mechanic work or are apt enough. It is a 4 on a 5 scale difficulty. Just a lot of things to do and will take a while as a "first" time.

BUT, DO IT!
