sorry boys and girls this has taken so long but a generous MCO member is going to host it for me and has told me that it will be up this weekend. I'll send him an email now to see where things are going. I promise the wait will be worth it. Hope all is well.

OK, who wants to see a serious mini video!? Here it is. Peter over at m7 was nice enough to host the movie, a few weeks ago when I was talking to him about getting a plasma booster I mentioned that I was finishing the video and just needed a place to post it. So if you get a chance give him a holler and say thanks. Without further adieu.

Tell that to the mini guys! But really, if anyone knows anyone at Mini's ad agency tell them to call me, or anyone who want's some high work done. I should make a sign that says. "Have talent, will work for MCS!"

-main reason I worked so hard on it because I remembered what it was like to wait so long for a mini, and any bit of media I could get my hands on was the highlight of my mini-less day!

-As for more, currently I have about 2 hours of footage (yes two hours) so I'm trying to put together a less tediously edited version with just tons of footage for you mini junkies. But I can't promise that I will have the time to sync the video and all of it's subtle and no so subtle changes with music. You have no idea how long that took.

"I've watched it four times already....I like your selection of music. Very tasteful."

-wasn't sure how everyone was going to like the music, I had played around with about 10 different music tracks ranging from techno to eazy e's "b*tch wants to f%$k my car". But in the end I was happy with the classical choice. Thanks for all the great feedback, makes having my computer tied up rendering for over 50hrs worth it.

OK frenchy (fin) very nice vid, but

I didnt like the music, which doesnt really matter as I probably woulnt have liked anything anyways

The edge bluring was cool, then it got kinda overwhelming

But by all means a VERY GOOD video!

If I read your previous post right you'll soon have footage up that is unedited with no music right. I would like to have all of that raw, unedited, no music (just the car noise) footage. That would be great.

Oh yeah, I want to d/l that to my computer but he's got the flash deal so is there going to be a way for me to d/l that?

GREAT JOB!

-actually I'm not french (thank god, JK, but really I'm a texan who was just running out of ideas of how to end the movie) As for downloading the movie, just right click the movie after it finishes loading and click "save as quicktime movie" should work. As I said before the original audio is awful because of the camera's position and the speed. I know the burnout part sounds good, but the second it goes about 40mph it doesn't even sound like a car, sounds like you stuck you head out of an airplane, actually, if anyone is a skydiver, it sounds like the wind when you jump out of a plane, the novelty wears off after about 4 secs. I didn't have the time to do the video the way I wanted to, ideally I would have had a wireless mic under the hood, a mic inside the car, and one in the boot, but like I said time and equipment was not on my side. But overall I was pleased with the way it came out.

Yeah, all I heard when the burnout was done was wind, oh well. The wireless mikes woulda been very sweet.

Here is a link to the movie on my site, please use it with care, I don't really want to run out of my bandwidth allowance only one week into the month.

thanks SCA, couldn't of said it better. I was really trying hard not to produce the cliche fast car film. Even though nothing is wrong with those, but I was hoping to put out a video that everyone would remember.

Nice exterior scenery , great camera angles, excellent editing and I liked the music.

I know, I know, everyone is a critic, but for me it would have had more appeal if it had interior cabin sound, (some supercharger whine and exhaust note perhaps) with the music faintly in the backround.

I really enjoy all the Mini sounds when I motoring about, rarely listen to music I love it so much.

I won't admit how many times I've watched your video though....Thanks broadband!!

Thanks for posting

Glad you liked it twominis, like I said before i really wish I had more usable audio from the shoot. Maybe next time, I am going to try to do another one of these types videos in the next month, Should have some really nice sound, along with some interior shots and such, the whole video thing was a bit new to me since I mostly use that rig for still photography. Thanks again.
