I tryed to seach alot on this topic when I found out what it was , I could only find 1 post, and did have that much info on it.
I have not ordered my MCS but will be soon when money is all here, saving up for a big down payment. But now I am worryed, what is this Stumble and YO-YO I have been hearing, were it is very sluggishs and almost feels like the car is going to die at take off????

Is it the software (ECU) were the problem is?? I was going to do a COMPLETE mod out when I get my MCS, Everything from ECU, Cam, Exhaust, everything. Can the Stumble and yo-yo be fixed with mods? or is it internal, like piston problems, or engine block?????? I really didn't know were else to post this, and I knew the Performance Mini ppl would have the answere, and be able to put my fears to rest.

Thank you in advance for your post................

Moby, are you a fisherman in disguise?

Look, I'll bite. Go to the "Under the bonnet" Forum and find the "Stumble" thread. Read all 18 pages and then report back with your findings in 5000 words or less.

Does anybody else really feel the need to respond after my bite?

Ken

Just because the 18 pages can be seriously intimidating:

Yes. It's completely ECU based from what we understand.

If you're planning on massive mods, word on the street is that the aftermarket software that is coming out within the next month or two will solve it completely.

No worries. Order the freakin' car already.

Just because I'm tired of the self appointed thread guards here !
My mcs has the ocassional stumble, it normaly happens after I've turned the wheels sharp off a light to make a turn.
The yo yo is more prominent when I first get going in the day, even after idle warmup.
I have a 15% reduction pulley and an Alta intake.
Don't let the stumble or the yo yo scare you, the mcs is so much fun in so many ways that it's easy to forgive the imperfections, kinda like a beautiful wife.

Hey, go ahead and fire away on all two cylinders dude! Don't know about you but I am currently tracking about 8 or 9 different threads in various forums. Just thought it would be nice if all Stumble related stuff could be kept in one box. You telling me a person can't type "Stumble" in the search engine and come up with some answers? Please.

Tell you what, every time something new develops regarding the stumble and yo yo over in the long Stumble thread, you copy it in here for Moby so he doesn't have to work too hard. Okay?

Here we go again....

Moby, just a friendly word of advice: delete that last post and take a little break. Then come back refreshed and ready for happy contributing. Everything will be just fine.

Wow, I could almost take that personally!

Have a nice day Moby. Oh, and get a sense of humour while your at it.

Thanks for proving my point. You only started it to see what sort of reaction you could get.

A fisherman if there ever was one.
