so i got a dual valence exhaust magnaflow yesterday but it sounds like a ferrari, i need to tone it down.. does anyone know what kind of resonator will fit?

 

RMW uses Hushpowers on their Magnaflows I believe. Nick (rustyboy) would be able to help ya...

You know carlos you could have the muffler shop reccomend one you never know what they come up with.
seems like they have a killer combo even rightnow.

 

lol i like the magnaflow exhaust as it is....but then again my car is registered in my home state so i dont have to worry about cali's retarded laws so much

You could go with an inline resonator or even a glasspack... I think... it may be fairly inexpensive to have a local muffler guy take a look and see.

 

im getting a resonator put in today!!! if its still to loud im going to sell it along with the valence! anyone interested??

k guys i got my glassback reso on today for super cheap ( 30 bucks, the guys were real nice too ) anyways it being a highflow muffler magnaflow exhuast along with the glassback it now groans and groggles , sounds reallllly bitchen! ( to me )

the problem i had before is when i was at low RPMs like 2k to 3k i would overhwleming roarr, but the glassback now it tames it down to a deep drone. most def not getting pulled over anymore... i will upload a soundclip on youtube and post it along with pics..

(p.s.) palo ubers valence ( which i got cheap to ) sucks big one. the fiberglass construction of it is slopy and u have to modify your exsiting bumper to drill it in.. anyone have suggestions to alternative valences

 

Shoot some pictures of the exhaust also if you can! I'm considering the either the glasspack/dual muffler setup, or something like an ALTA (I want to do an agranger air horn on the other side! What a great idea.... thanks Aaron!).

 

get a stock cooper valence and just cut out the other side...or try contacting blue flame

 

omg im jealous. my car only has the stock resonator removed, but i want it wayyyyyy louder. maybe i should get magnaflow then! ; )

 

dude! most def get a magnaflow.. only problem is... youll have to turn up your stereo loud so u can hear music haha.

and hands free phones law effective july 1st. its going to be reallly hard to hear your blue tooth

but year get a resonator if u get a magnaflow or else cops will pull you over
