Need some more PEP

I have an 04 MINI cooper S, im looking to get some more pull from. Its completly stock, and someone had suggested maybe adding a supercharger pully, air filter, and exhaust. I also don't know what the stock boost is on this car, or how much it can hold on the stock supercharger. Im not wanting to go crazy, but I would love to go faster. Let me know what you think of my ideas, or any other mods I can do that would make a noticeable difference without significantly deacreasing my mpg (30 right now in city).

The stock supercharger can very easily take the 15% smaller pulley. This is pretty much the best bang-for-your-buck power adder for the 1st Gen MCS's. It can add somewhere between 15-20 horsepower, some claim.

The cold-air-intake, followed by a cat-back exhaust is usually next. Beyond that, you could do a custom dyno tune or Unichip or something for the ECU to get all those parts to play nice.

Then you leave the comfort zone of bolt-on power, and enter major installation territory: new cylinder head, pistons, camshafts, etc. The cost goes much higher with those...

Or you could do a twincharge kit, (adding a small turbo to your car, while keeping the stock supercharger).

Thanks for asking! Luckily for you there are a TON of items to help performance and not decrease MPG. As mentioned, the 15% S/C pulley, intake and exhaust are all REALLY good ways to go. Most clients (if they can keep their foot off the go pedal) see an improvement of 2-5 mpg on the freeway. So well worth the investment.

We offer packages on these items as well as individual, PLEASE let me know how I can help in anyway shape or form. Enjoy the car and welcome to NAM!
