Alta CAI Lid Problem

So i've just fitted the Alta CAI and Lid.

Before i put the lid on, the filter 'neck' fitted snugly up to the black wall of the filter housing.

Once i put the bracket on for the lid it stood away from the wall by about 1/2", when i looked at the photo for the lid install it shows the filter with one jubilee clip, whereas on mine it's got 2.
One for the filter - wall connection, the other is for the foam to connect to the inner metal housing.

It seems that this second jubilee clip is stopping the bracket fitting properly, as a result the lid is on, but there's a 5mm air gap between the front wall (where the filter attaches) and the top of the lid because it's set too far back.

If this is what I think it is then I had the same issue. I had to do a little creative bending of the bracket so that the lid wouldn't push the bracket which in turn pushed the filter off.

That's what i did in the end, hacksawed the end of the bracked off and fitted it properly.

:( It doesn't bode well, especially as my ALTA Catch Can turned up without the 2 right angle push lock fittings for the sight tube, meaning i can't use it.
