Alta & Craven SSK. How low can you go?
I am getting ready to purchase my short shifter and it was a toss up between the Alta and the Craven units. I am going for the adjustable unit and found that these two offer the adjustments I'm looking for. I have found a few comparisons on other shifters but how about the Alta and Craven. What are the biggest differences between the two? Also how low can we go? Does anyone have any pictures of how low either one of them can get when set at the lowest **** height setting? Thanks...

Niether ! ~ Get a B&M SSK
You will not be dissapointed in the B&M I promise.
Just had INSKIP MINI dealer in Warwick RI Install my B&M kit today. ALL the mechanics in the dealership were originally BMW Mechanics, and many own their own Beemers as well. Kevin installed my kit, and he stated of all the one's he has seen/used and installed, including the one in his Beemer, the B&M kit is by far the best. I got my normally $150.00US kit on Ebay for $15.00US+shipping. What a deal !
INSKIP charged two hours labor for a job that actually took 2.5 hrs, and did a fabulous professional job.
(Remember to ask whom ever installs your kit, to use red loc-tite on any set screws too.)

I have heard that there can be problems with these short shifters hitting the resonators on aftermarket exhaust systems. I don't have one and I can't speak from experience or anything. It seems I have seen that concern pop up here and there. Might be something to ask the vendors your dealing with
