Maybe all of my browsers are screwy, but I see nothing but an ugly green background and a white square...looked at the source, and it looks like there might be some Flash in the future...

They are an INCREDIBLE Company

They will be THE mini source....

Unless you despise upgrades and performance!

M7 -Official Sponsors of Team MightyMiniZ and Team MightyMiniZ - supporter of M7

We will break more details as soon as they are made.

Therein would seem to lie the problem. Hate to say it, but I predict a phone call from BMW's legal team to these guys in the not-so-distant future. No, BMW doesn't actually have an M7, but I'd be pretty surprised if they didn't have that name trademarked all the same.

Regardless, best of luck to them! The more performance groups around, the better!

Actually, no M7 yet.. but there is a 7 series yeah? MightyMiniz... you hinted at a 250 hp and some wayyy off the mark torque figure from m7 shown at the beach party.

SPILL the details!!

or is this a cute hoax?

especially the $1300 price tag for said performance.

HAHAHA M7 Trademark dispute with BMW

Won't happen.

M7Speed is a GREAT new comapny... they are also one of SoCal's newest Hamman Dealer's

Their site should be up within the next couple of weeks... with full details.

They installed a Plasma Booster into 2 of Team MighytMiniZ coopers and we can feel the difference the Plasma Boosters make... worth the $$$ and on sale now!

Keep your eyes on them, Like I said... they will be THE company to watch.

If you want to join Team MightyMiniZ when they visit the M7speed facility and test drive their race mini and street mini... you are more than welcome. We will keep you posted.

I only despise high priced upgrades with small performance gains

When will the the site be up and running with real products, real performance numbers......Dyno charts are ok, but still don't address the actual performance numbers as hp gains are overrated and torque gains are underrated IMO....cheers !

American Company??

The above is my exact point....."We can feel the difference" or "This car is now a screamer"......yada, yada, yada.....too many subjective statements regarding performance mods on many posts, don't get offended, but they are starting to get a little old & boring........

This M7 scenario is a lot like the Diamond turbo monster, lots of PR without a stellar reputation.

Lots of PR?

Thanks Paul.

I would not relate m7 to diamond by any means. we saw the product, read the numbers and charts to say the least. we also Have m7 product in our cars.

paul...if you ever buy a mini (doubting this now after a year) I would give you the product m7 installed into my mini.

so ... why don't you buy that mini and bring it over. We'll mod it up for ya.

When there are customer parts, installed on customer cars, with customer supplied dyno numbers, then I'll believe it.

Just a little skeptical considering M7 hasn't had much if any history on this board for months and now they are being talked about as a premier MINI tuner.

Dave... I respect your opinions and you as a person... but all of us at the Beach Party enjoyed Peter's company and he was far from pompous. He has great attitude and a way fast MCS.
He is putting a lot of effort and care into his products. He did tell us about his eclipse experience, he did tell us about the tuners involved... but they are not now. Import tuner's tend to stay away from the low and limited income potential of the mini compared to the higher potential of Japanese Import tuning.

No one has called them the premier mini tuner... just THE one to watch. We were actually refered to them by another highly respected company. One which we regard as our friends.

just watch...sit back and enjoy...

Doug, I have posted elsewhere that a MINI was not in my immediate future. When my current car dies (Integra w/200k+ miles), then the MINI will be my car. I figure 2-3 years. By that time the MINI aftermarket will be mature and the pretenders will be weeded out. If M7 is still around, then they will be one of the many companies I will investigate.

Peter sent me a PM through mini2 regarding testing some products for the Cooper a couple weeks ago. I gave him a ring 'cause I'm interested like that. Thoughout the phone call Peter stressed REAL performance gaining products. While the market looks nice now, some of the stuff he mentioned to me was amazing--as in, why is that not out yet.... I had visited the site prior to the phone call and asked why nothing was up. Didn't really have an explaination, but it appears he wants to launch several products and wants to provide real results for them at launch.

Peter told me to watch the Mini Mania Ultimate challenge and SEMA for debuts. From the stuff I was told, M7 should be the one to watch.

I first corresponded with Peter on MINI2 a few months back with a thread he initiated called 70lb striptease, or something like that. He recently invited me down to SoCal to see what he has, and provided a means to contact him directly. While I have not done so yet, I found that encouraging nonetheless. I too look forward to seeing and hearing more details!

Ignition Solutions
or google "ignition solutions plasma booster" In a nut shell, its basically a hotter spark. Since all MINIs run really rich, this helps burn off the fuel for power. Its NOT advancing the timing either so it gives MPGs and HPs, not many products like that.
