Jan:
Please quantify the value of this very cool W2A solution as compared to the stock IC, and th GP.
1. hp/tq across rpm, or maybe better yet, vehicle speed
2. input to outlet temps.

I realize you may not have all of the above, but some would be nice.

Thanks......

I will give you the unscientific info
Danny has seen inlet temps of around 110degrees F with a 19% pulley on the track when Nick was seeing 150-175 with a 15% pulley and stock intercooler

typically during city driving 80degrees is normal
I will be data logging with BimCom so there will be plenty of info available shortly....

Remember that intercoolers will not make HP. They will only keep your engine from losing HP.

Jan with help from Danny have been running and testing this unit for some time now. It works really really well. Danny helped develop the Gintani system and said he would never take it off the car.. Well he did and never put it back on.

Ok that was impressive, and I anxiously await more data, numbers are our freinds.
So, Danny and Nick have very similar setups otherwise? Most specifically, same head? or traditional boost by pulley (i.e. ~15psi for 15%, and likewise for the 19%)

Also, what is the effect of boost pressure moving through this W2A, as opposed to a stock IC ?

Also please compare a good W2A like this to a good W/M kit utilized for intake charge cooling.

Also, thanks for playing 20 questions.

just to add to my post:

danny's car made 268whp with this unit on his car running at 19% to 8k which you could never do with an air to air....
the data given about track inlet temps were on the same day at the track and both cars were running RMW head/header/exhaust system with 440cc injectors and tune
I'm not going to test a water meth kit because in my opinion it's not relevant. One you have to refill over and over and risk running out of fluid during a run vs something which will run continuously. This just opens up the can of worms like, well what if I cooled it with CO2 or nitrous etc etc.
We believe this to be the finest W2A out there.
We will gladly show the numbers..... our track times don't lie either

Excellent response, thanks. I await the numbers.

My thought on W/M was........Uh, why bother ? Too much risk and maintenance compared with the benefit. Thanks for the verification.

A closed system is superior in many ways.

Danny and my cars were nearly identical during this testing phase. The only difference is his car had a schrick cam (Not going to affect intake temps really) and ran a 19% while I ran a 15%.

Theoretically his temps should have been HIGHER than mine. The IC works, trust me.

If all you do is commute locally in town, the W2A MAY be a bit too much for you. On the track though there's no question it works. My temps were consistantly 40-60 degrees hotter running my 15%.

The Stock SC doesn't like to be revved up to 8k+ rpm's with the stock IC on the track, the Laminova keeps those temps under control.

All vendor data here on NAM is scientific, factual and accurate. You start giving us unscientific data and we won't know what to do with it.

It just FiretrUCKS us up.

On a serious note, could you detail a little on the air path taken through this W/A IC ? Might help understand the design layout. Any internal pics?

Damn You Jan.

You keep making me want to spend more money on my car before getting the head or 1.8.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

I see...

I wasn't aware he was making a 1.8. Sounds interesting!

Strange, you know, since everyone thinks I work for him and all?
