Drivetrain Alta Intercooler diverter mod
Alta Intercooler diverter mod
Inspired by Dr PhilGandini's post I cluged together a minor mod to the (uninspired) Alta Intercooler diverter. the alta install requires removal of some hood ducting which takes up space in front of the intercooler. The addition provides a little more air ducting to make up for the loss of ducting. Not the finest workmanship but it was free. Pics are before, parts made out of roof edge flashing. The orange peel gives away its origin - Orange County. I think it'll be good for at least 8 horsepower.
I sure wish I knew how to post pics in my post. Is there a how to anywhere on this site?

and scroll to almost the bottom (about 3 photos up) you'll find a nice diagram that will help you with this project.
