CEL...I should take it to dealer ASAP yes?

I installed the Alta Turboback and one of the tubes so far (lots more to install). These were installed about 400 to 500 miles ago (I'm at nearly 2000 miles now). Anyway, the CEL came on yesterday and won't go off. The car drives just as well as it did before so I'm curious as to what's going on. Should bringing it in to the dealer be my first option?

I would stop by Autozone or Checker and have them read and clear the code. It may just be a glitch and may never come back. If it comes back, then go to the dealer.

Catback shouldn't throw a code, boost tubes have been know to come loose.

When they read the code, will they automatically know what it means? I see people posting codes here that are just numbers?

Might even be a gas cap loose. There are TONS of codes. If the car runs ok, it is likely something NOT related to the boost tubes!

Let me know if I can help further!

Definately take it to AutoZone. Don't have them clear the code unless it's one of the silly ones you can fix. Leave it for a dealer if it looks like it wasn't your fault.
