I was going to wait till I had my pics sorted before I made comment , but I have to say "What a Day "
three thumbs up .
For me personally not to much of an improvement over what I had on previous Dyno`s / Tunes but it was found that I have some obscure problem with some air /fuel readings . Even so Jan was able to make my car run like it never has before ,so linear is that the word ?? responsive ?? smooth ?? ALL that and more .
Only problem I have now is , I got to learn how to launch from stop again , to try and save on tire wear also environmental smoke pollution
.
A new MINI Friendly company has been made with Renn-House .The boss and staff were wonderfully supportive to everyone .Hospitality was at its best . I believe we will be hearing more from this company .
Jan worked his *** off all though the long day . A pleasure to have met him in person . I think every one came away with a more educated understanding what the tune / Dyno was all about .
Mr. Ingsoc (Mahir)
Thank you for holding this event together ,I thought at one point it was going to fail , but glad I was proven wrong . A great bunch of Mini folks. a great day .

Shadow started at 175whp with 165 torque. Final was 185whp and I think 173 or 176 torque. I notice a BIG difference in drivability, though. I was having hesitation on take-off and a flat spot around 3200 rpm and rough acceleration from 3500-4000 or so. Now there is no hesitation, no flat spot and everything is really smoothed out.
I received one print-out, but it wasn't the highest gain because the last Dyno they did on Shadow (the one that was printed) wasn't as high as the one before, so he re-installed that map back.
Thanks to Jan for coming out, for ingsoc for organizing it, and to Renn Haus for the dyno. What a nice shop they have along with professional staff.
Great to see Keith again and nice to meet some new faces.

It was nice to meet you guys this past Friday at Renn Haus. My MINI is at Ferman right now getting the tensioner problem addressed. I am also having them put in the 535 Napa belt while they have everything pulled apart to get rid of the belt slipping we saw in the high RPM range. The service advisor tried to tell me it's out of warranty since I have a pulley, but he said he'd try and take care of it.
Let's hope they fix it tomorrow so I can have my MINI back. I hate driving rentals.
Even with the belt slipping I saw a 10hp gain and the power is right at the tip of my toes. It's a lot more fun to dirve and the weird thing is that the gas mileage actually improved very slightly. THANKS JAN!!!
