Search option is terrible...

Ive tried the search ( i know to do this before asking questions )
I am in the market for a front splitter. I have seen M7 version and its nice but i was wonderign if there were other options? I would prefer Carbon Fiber but its not a necessity. any help would be great and thanks a big butt-ton

I don't know anything about splitters, so I can't help you there, but while you're waiting for replies, I can help you with searching (which is a "known-to-suck" feature on this site).

Go to Google and search for what you want to know, but put "site:www.northamericanmotoring.com" (without the quotes) at the end of your search terms, like this:

'M7 splitter carbon fiber site:www.northamericanmotoring.com'

(again, without the single quotes).

This gives you all the flexibility of Google's search engine, but limits the results to only those from the NAM site. It's particularly nice because there's no minimum length requirement for search terms (unlike NAM, which would disregard "M7" as a search term because it's too short). Also, Google doesn't limit you to 500 results.

a couple guys are making their own splitters here in the exterior forums. Very nice too! They're not carbon fiber, but made from an ABS plastic (IIRC). I'll get the link for you.

Here are a couple...

Im not really into building my own. I like the nice professionally done look and im not much of a fabricator, but thanks for the response and effort of setting up links.

To make it very easy, cut 'n paste 'site:www.northamericanmotoring.com' (without the quotes) into the google search window, and when it takes you to the page just save as a favorite. then you can click on it, type in your search parameters in front of the 'site:www.....' and go.

Adjusted the exposure to show a little more detail on the splitter (at the expense of the rest of the image):

i asked the exact same question not 2 weeks ago. i thought they were pure asthetics but ChrisMCS04 came to visit me and he had one from wavern ( or something ) and he swears by the performance aspect. i trust his judgement. he seemed like a great guy and like he knew what he was talking about.

At higher speeds they help cut wind out from under the vehicle as well as provide downforce if adjusted properly

To simplify slightly, you also don't need the "www". Just Google "site:northamericanmotoring.com M7 splitter" or whatever.
