Drivetrain Pilo induction kit & my own short shift install..long
Just finished installing the Pilo induction system. One of the lowest priced kits and very similar to other out there. Material and fit were first rate & I would recommend the kit for this reason...not sure about gains, but I sure feel that I have better throttle response. Installation took me about 20 min.
Also did a short shift that I love. I cut out about 2.25 inches of the shift lever between the pivot point and the plastic area that secures the shift boot and ****. I used a brass pipefitting sleeve (Home Depot) to join the sections and secured them using some pins through 1/8 inch holes I drilled through the sleeve and shift lever. Total cost $2.95 and the difference is amazing. It really improves shifting and allows you to keep the stock **** fitting. Does take a little more effort to get it into reverse, as you don’t have as much leverage.

Glad to hear that you like the Pilo Racing Cold Air Intake. Remember that the intake should be cleaned and oiled approx every 10k miles, about the same time as you change your oil. The cleaning kit is avaiable from www.thepilo.com
