Drivetrain D8 GT. The anti-MINI
Visually, I think the long hood is mitigated by the fact that the car is so small. At least from the front, this D8 looks like a modern interpretation of the Lotus 7, which looks just fine in person:

In fact, I think the hood on the Lotus might even be *longer*, compared to the total length of the car.

its a german version of the classic Lotus 7. very good car from all acounts.
uses a tuned Audi/VW 1.8T engine (normaly run over 300bhp i think) and weight 600+kg.
not as light as the caterham and probably not as hardcore as the latest caterhams but still good.
if you like these car then mayeb have a look at a DAX. they do a version called the MC which has camber adjusting suspension and uses a 1.3 hyabusa engine. several have truboed these engines to verious levels of tune. all in a car that weighs around 500kg!
Cheers
Chris.
PS here ia a guys with a very nice westfield.............

theyre not german, theyre dutch. and the caterhams are not more "hardcore" as Donkervoort holds a healthy margin for the fastest roadcar (barring Radical) lap time on the ring. even by wikipedia's standards donkervoort is up on the caterham by 41 seconds.

I thought you would like it. It just looks Evil. My buddy in the Netherlands knows the guy who makes them. On next trip over we are going for a visit and I hope a drive. On my last trip I got to play in the new 135I. He told the local BMW dealer I was moving there
. They gave me the keys and said have fun. I really really liked it.

there's an authentic classic original Lotus here in town. stunning in person.
that thing is a bit of an abomination but that's why I like it
Ditch the wheels though....those Volks belong on something AWD like an EVO.

hehehe
its euro locost from rich carosserie
LSIS is a myth as it is low cost supercar
neither locost nor good engineering goes hand by hand
my quotation for LSIS goes to 20-25 kUSdollars - without exterier
