Supercharged

Anyone know how much Horsepower and torque the stock M45 blower thats on there is good for before big boom
like saying everything is optimised head cam pulley exaust cai da works
or would it be good to talk to jan about one of those snazzy rotrex kits and stroker motors?
Im looking to get around 250 t0 260 at the flywheel better if it was at the wheels

Well gintania claims there making 300whp on the m45. Call or email them for a dyno sheet.

i dont think its a matter of how much hp but how fast the supercharger is spinning. I have heard that the eaton 45 was designed for around 100k with a regular pulley and lets guess 65-75k for a 15% pulley. Im not sure how accurate the numbers are, they are just things ive read on boards, but i think as long as your willing to rebuild it/replace it after so long i personally dont see issues with boosting. of coure these are all just speculation due to the fact that i have been to school to become an engineer for -0- days now.

ive heard the m45 is good for 100krpm (it doest get lower with a pulley. rotation is rotation)

ive tried emailing and calling eaton's auto performance people, but they never get back with me.

From my research on here:

on the M45:
15%
header -> full exhaust
intake
head matched to your header
tune!!

with this you should beat your flywheel hp goal or at least meet it. No first hand exp but what ive been reading.

also consider at what point you will need to do the LSD/Clutch/flywheel thing.

Subject: M45 Maximum Shaft Speed
I was wondering what the maximum shaft speed on a 3rd gen m45 is. Thank you for your time.
Aaron Patrick Finley
on my spreadsheet from a different thread ( http://www.gstockmini.com/resources/scspeed.xls ) I worked on the second hand figure of 17200. With the number from Eaton, a 15% pulley is pretty far over the max shaft speed. a 19% is just ridiculous.

Guess so, Though this isent what i was asking.....
I wanted to know how much that supercharger could produce In terms of horsepower.
and i think Mugami that you verywell may be pushing pretty hard on that parts limits.

Danny at MINICorsa is currently putting out 263 HP on the stock Eaton M45. I don't know of anyone that's running higher HP on the stock SC.
