Drivetrain Hartage Cooper S
meaning what?
It has 210 hp using only a few mods, pulley, ecu, exhaust. might be missing something but i have been meaning to ask someone how they got so much hp out of so little mods.
German company working with BMW for a while. Thats all i know.

It's in dyno interpretation. They are getting around 198 using the same conversion I use on the same dyno (11% driveline loss).
It is a kit that uses a smaller pulley, a change in the supercharger inlet, and ECU tuning. The exhaust is optional - but necessary to get the claimed power gain.
Hope that helps!

Hartage, Hamann, AC Schnitzer etc: you might as well be buying performance parts & kits from a Ukranian tuner.
-If you live in the US and deal w/ these companies (and the less than stellar "importer networks"
don't expect any kind of "normal" importer input, service, dealer relationships, sales assistance, tech. support & general info. As a US consumer of German Tuner merchandise expect the worse. Emergency assistance: you can FORGET IT!
-From my experience (and lot's of others w/ BMW's) it is a mayor headache to expect even marginal support from the various "importers" of these tuners..Who the hell are these people anyway?
-My advice: wait until Steve Dinan releases his line of Mini Cooper products, buy from a British or domestic tuner or get a "Works" kit from your BMW/Mini dealer.
PS Read the Euro auto press to get a better feel for the German/Cooper mods
