Drivetrain do I need a re-tune?
do I need a re-tune?
Hi all!
My first post on this forum.
I tuned my MCS when I had 15% S/C pulley(+shorter belt), Milltek CatBack, K&N 57i Induction kit and Denso Iridium IK22 spark plugs installed.
After that I have fitted GRS intercooler, 40' volt coil pack and Magnecor spark leads.
I'm now going to install 380cc JCW Injectors, should I re-tune the ECU after the injectors are installed or will the ECU cope/adapt?
Advise is appreciatet!

With just 380's the ECU should adapt fine, but if you really want the most efficiency and power you will need a tune(not a GIAC), a Jan tune
will do the job the best. And if you are looking to upgrade in the future skip the 380's and go to 400's or 440's... that + Jan's tune =
Well, for now it is...he is setting up the means to do remote tunes as well
Or you could find a Dimsport(or many other brands) tuner in Europe that is renown for their work and have them go at it:thumbups:

i would dyno the car before you add the injectors and see what the A/F is. just adding a pulley doesn't require injectors.
