I just installed my Oil gauge and wanted to know what other people are getting for oil pressure.
At what RPM? What engine temp? It varies a great deal.
At idle, before warmup, I'm at 65 PSI. At idle after warmup I'm between 15 and 20 psi. At WOT after warmup i'm at about 50 PSI, cruising, I'm between 30 and 40 after warmup.
But that seems to be about what It's been at so far today. I kinda worried when it was 15/20 because I haven't seen it so low on other cars i've owned.

American engines tend to run low oil PSI at idle. The Tritec is from Chrysler .
When my oil is above 200º the pressure is about 5-7 psi at idle. At that same temp near red line it is about 60 psi. The engine keeps about 10 psi per 1,000 rpm.
