my original point was that it didn't matter too much how cold it is outside, as the SC heats up the air so much. but, that the cooler air would help the intercooler to work more effeciently

Its a 5 part (IIRC) article about intelligent intercooler misting. Its one of the few places I've seen to touch on the fact that the intercooler is an air-to-air radiator, as well as a big heatsink. They go on to show that misting is only really helpful with the latter issue, yet most people spray it when they are going full throttle.

 

yeah i hooked it up on my car... i see there is a link to sunshine minis where there are some install pics... i dynoed it and it added a couple hp.. but there was no fan or anything forcing it into the IC or anything... so i would say on the road it adds maybe 5-6 HP... but im soon going to tap into the horn before the IC and use a 23 jet and spray it. Mike from thumper performance was getting some nice results from this. so i would skip the cooler and go right to the spray... im still goin go use my IC sprayer but im just going to set that up to the purge noid.

and when the hood is down it shoots out the scoop abount 10 feet. pretty cool i guess.
