Where to tap boost on UK spec R56?

Hello,
I was sooooo close to order the Alta R56 gauge pod and the Alta MAP Stand-off Plate until.......

I checked, my car is the UK spec R56, therefore no MAP sensor. So now, I can't tap boost using the Alta MAP Stand-off plate.

I've tried posting up in the UK Mini forum, mini2.com but no one seems to post a reply.

Can anyone please advice on how i can still tap boost for my gauge, i am looking for a neat and clean install just like how Alta worked it out with their stand-off plate.

Thanks

You got that backwards the Euro cars dont have a MAF sensor on the intake track, but do have the MAP sensor... So you should have no problems.

So the MAP and MAP sensors are physically the same and the Alta stand-off plate will work either way?

The MAP sensors are the same on both cars. The MAF is just missing from the EU cars.
