is there a price floating around? i agree it looks expensive. I still need to get a price quote for a magnaflow muffler +3inch piping. I went to a muffler shop today and they only do 2.5inch piping at the max.

35 bph? I'd like to see a dyno as well. This replaces the second cat, is that right? Or is it a TBE?

Well hopefully you find a reputable place to get it done at.

I e-mailed Quicksilver pretty much asking the basic ?'s

1. is it Cat-back, TBE, or dp down deleting 2nd cat.

2. Current price, with shipping to Miami.

3. Dyno plots.

4. And what size piping. Seems to me 2.5, but i coudl be wrong!

Awaiting a response.

The Exhaust will cost $560 GBP shipped, so approximately $1100 shipped. at 5+ units you'll probably save $100 but I would need to finalize this. As far as i know there are no dyno plots and it's 2.5" tubing. It does delete the second cat.

Some info I found here:

so like 1k. 1500 and you could get the whole alta turbo back. the quicksilver does look nice but for a 1000 bucks not so much.

1k well that is just to much for a strait pipe a couple hangers and a muffler with some tips. Now if it was a Turbo back and cost that much .

well seeing that this manufacturer also makes exhausts for super exotics like lambos... i dont think all is to blame on the weak dollar. This is just a flat out expensive (need i say overpriced) brand.

have to pay for experience and quaility, plus shipping cost eat up about $240. can't compare with a magnaflow that you buy from pepboys

Thank you for your email enquiry.

For your MINI Cooper S (Turbo), we make a stainless steel exhaust system from the 'Cat' back (no downpipe). The bore of the pipe is 2.25inches (57mm). The tip is 3inch (76mm) upswept.

I do not have any official dyno test results but we have been told by one client that their MINI produced 192bhp @ 5860rpm on testing. This is not verified.

ok, so messed that post up.

No before after dyno. 2.25 inch pipe (too small).

Still would go for Alta or custom made.

haha, yeah thats true. But the way i see it... most muffler shops offer lifetime warranties on the welds and such. Even if your 1k exhaust offers that, you still have to go through the hassle of making a claim, then sending it in for another $240.

Anyway, it is a good looking exhaust and if you get it good for you... just too much money for my blood.
