Drivetrain WERE TO GO NEXT?
WERE TO GO NEXT?
Hi i own a mcs and i have installed the 15% reduction pulley, cold air intake and the one ball exhaust. i just installed the pulley last night and WOW what a diffrence. the diffrence was so impressive ive decided to continue project super mini untill i have one hella sweet ride. iam seventeen and the only trouble is i need some advice on what should be the next upgrade. i'am looking for the best bang for buck. any advice should be helpful. thanks
Or that, all that power isnt going to do you much good on the road if you cant turn well. Definitely read up on sway bars and camber plates, they may not make you faster in a straight line but it should do wonders for your turns.

Im also about to turn 17, it really all comes down on the ammount of money we have to spend. So far i think your best bet would be some 380's and a good dyno tune by RMW etc. If money is not a problem get a head, matched header, 440's and tuning time and have more than enough power. PM me if you have anymore ?'s

Just like in performance, the other categories have level 1
in suspension - rear sway, non-run flats.
in brakes - ss lines, fluid & pads.
At the same time, always keep an eye on the marketplace ! BUT you need to KNOW where you are going development wise (THE PLAN) and buy to the plan not because its a deal.
Judging by the fact that you are 17 I'd say that your next move should be to learn to handle the rock.

You've already got a pretty fast car. Now go learn how to drive it really well.

there are many sanctioning bodies that will allow you to get to the track. where do you live. once we have established that, people in your area can chime in with the answers....
Er?
There's tons of posts about avoiding crank pulley upgrades. Stick with the 15%.
I agree with the others though. The performance on your car with those mods is definitely quite good already. The best bang for the buck to make that mini go around corners better is the rear anti-sway bar. Couple hundred bucks, and couple hours install time.
If you want it to go faster in a straight line, go for the ECU tune. Stay away from the unichips.

Another thing you might want to look into is some sticky tires.
Also a rear sway bar. Once you start taking onramps you will forget all about that straight line power. Ask the Blown Saleen that was behind me today
