Upgrade advice

I am going to upgrade my 05 JCW MCS
I have decided on
1. 16% M7 pulley
2. Header
3. Cylinder head
4. Bosch 440 cc injectors
5. Dimsport tune
Due to the cost involved I was going to do this over a 4-6 month period and was going to do it in stages.
I am changing the pulley next week and will also order the header next week.
My main question is by doing the upgrade in stages how will this affect the overall drivability of the car?
Should I wait and get the header/cylinder head installed at the same time?
Or should I wait and do everything at once?
Once I have the new cylinder head and injectors installed I was going to get the tune but there will probably be a delay of a few months before I get it done (due to the cost $1999 Aussie dollars!). Once again how will the stock ECU handle the extra power?
Any advice would be appreciated.

You're probably gonna through some codes before you get the tune. The car will run and drive but not nearly at it's full potential before said tune.
