New to MINI. Any Turbo First Gen engine pics out there?
Hello all. Thinking of buying a first gen. Just want to see if I could build on budget with one of these.

check with http://www.detroittuned.com/ one of the early team member put a turbo on an R53.

What I should dooo is pick up a motor and trans from the yards in Pacoima so I can start my project!

Kalvin is running with an Apexi SAFC2....tuned to 21.1 jiggawhhhat.....jiggawatts But he needs/wants to run the Motec M400 controlling the heat seeking laser guided bombs...
