2008 JCW Mod questions.

Hi, I just picked up my 2008 Mini Cooper S with the factory JCW.

I would like to begin with very simple mod’s and list out more adventurous things down the road. Of course I would not want to void my warrantee either. Initially I would like to replace the air filter, all in the name of sound. What do you all recommend? Can I change the filter now and then in a few months change over to a cool air design? After this I was thinking exhaust to squeak a little more power but mainly to improve on the wimpy sound the car has, what exhaust sounds a little meaner ? That’s it for now I suppose. I can’t really afford any serious mods at this point.
