wheel weight corrected above.

BTW, one can get 12 lb. 16" wheels for a lot less money than any of the MINI wheel options...

My take:
Do not under any circumstance get the Eagles. A GoodYear logo doesn't make a heavy poorly designed tire good. Never drove a GY I liked.

If you are looking for good tires look at Dunlop Sport 9000 or Continental Sport or Extreme Contacts. (GoodYear now owns Dunlop but they did not design the 9000 and Dunlop made the first tire ever.)

Keep your wheels if money is an issue. OR if you can swing wheels too get something cheap (no more than $180 a wheel) and light (sub 20 pound each). Then at least you'll be able to run summer and winter sets.

Team Dynamics (quite popular) and Konig Feather are two examples.

Save the unsprung weight you will get better handling, better fuel economy and a slight improvement in the go fast dept too.

Then go buy the pulley and get the car tuned.

It's really funny - take the number of models of tires out there - multiply by 3 - and that's how many different opinions there are about tires...

I recently got a set of Eagle F1 AllSeasons and LUVVVV them... best tires - BY FAR - I've ever driven in my 42 years... but I know others who have had horror stories...
