It,s been nearly 24 hours since my pulley was installed. In short, it's Fu$$ing amazing.
Eric at Helix was cool, there is a brewery next door to his shop, it was kind of early and I still had to drive back to N.Y. so I only had two beers. The stout was pretty good, but the high octane pale was better.
Alta intake and pulley now, thinking ecu now.
Blast off.

It's been 6 weeks since Randy intalled the pulley. Already had the Madness intake, Magnaflow cat back and Milltek header with hi-flow cat. While each upgrade was an experience unto itself the pulley was by far the most impressive.
This afternoon I Fed-Ex'ed the ECU to Randy for the EVOTech upgrade. From what I have been told and read, the ECU upgrade should be equal to the pulley. I can hardly wait - plus I miss being able to drive Mouse already.

Very cool, let us know what the ECU ends up doing for mouse. Talking to Eric at Helix about ECU upgrades made me feel like I should wait. Eric is in the middle of dyno & road testing the different product currently offered and didn't sound too impressed by any of it. He mentioned the lack of hp gain been the let down but he's trying to get around that with a meaty torque curve. I love torque, so I guess I'm holding out.
ALTA intake, 15% pulley and getting close to 32 mpg.

BLAST OFF, PFFFF!!!!!!!!!

I kept thinking I would wait on the ECU upgrade but each new addition to Mouse added so much to the grin factor I decided to just go for it. I'm a single dad so I didn't have to justify the upgrades to anyone other than myself and I am easily convinced.

The BEST I've heard (or read) right here on this forum was the ECU is worth HALF the pulley - both in seat of the pants and dyno. But hey, half the pulley is still a great gain - I'll take it! But I am waiting cause I hear the GIAC ECU is finally going to materialize very soon....

Thats what I've heard as well. But 7 weeks ago when I paid for the EVOTech ECU upgrade, the EVOTech seemed to be the best on the market. Oh well. I may have to convince myself I really need a new upgrade.
