Drivetrain clutch opinion Organic or Ceramic
clutch opinion Organic or Ceramic
I found a great deal on a clutch and flywheel setup, but the guy only has organic and ceramic. I origionally hoping to get a Kevlar...
Im looking to get opinions from you guys on which extreme i should go with, race ceramic, or more stock style organic. I drive the car everyday but im very nice to my clutch, but when i drive hard, i drive very hard and i autox about everyother weekend and a few track days here and there.

I think that the ceramic will work out better for you. With the auto-x and track days I think your car will perform better, the clutch will last longer, and it is a good middle ground until you go with Kevlar. The organic will not be able to hold as much TQ as the ceramic. The organic will also start slipping much earlier than the ceramic.
So go Ceramic
Hope this helps.

this is a uuc setup with the flywheel, as for chris's info, thank you, i probably will go with ceramic, but kevlar is actually middle of the road and ceramic is the top... its a 4 puck ceramic clutch... just hoping if i get it it lasts a reasonable amount of time
Ahh, so I had them backwards...Hmm, I feel embarrassed...
Well that 4 puck should last you quite some time, compared to the organic with your combined usage. It should work quite well on the track and Auto-x. It may be a little touchy to get used to on the street though...but stick with it
