Advice on how to prep a track car.

Hi all,
I am not prepping my R56 as a deticated track car but a Proton Satria GTi.

It's quite popular here in Malaysia.

I am new to this so any advice is appreciated.

These are the things that i am already planning to do:

1) Strip the car of all interior carpet, moulding and sound deathening material
2) Remove the air-con
3) semi or slick tires
4) braided hoses
5) hotter rated brake pads

Anything else?

Take out the spare, take out passenger and back seats, fill up with some race fuel(bump timing and tune accordingly), if you really want to get serious, strip door panels, also the stereo and speakers.
