Hamann engine upgrade kits

Does any one know anything about the Hamann kits for the MCS? Do you have one fitted? What are the prices like?

Of course...just not too many people in the USA can afford to boat their cars across the pond!

Ask over here: http://www.mini2.com/forum/search.php?searchid=4396055

I have also e-mailed a few distributors but none have got back to me !
There are USA and Canadian distributors - so I thought that maybe at least one person in the entire North American continent has one...but guess not!

You might understand why no one has it once you find out the cost.

Problem solved....I now know why no body on the planet has any of these performance parts on their minis....the price! I finally found out how much they cost!

For a basic kit comprising of - ECU reprogramming, Modified supercharger transmission-ratio and Water-cooled intercooler = 4,260 Euro = >$6,000USD

The intercooler sure looks good though just not $6,000 good...

For the CS5 kit you are looking at 18,950 Euro = >$27,500USD
