I was speaking to George from Forge Motorsport (at Waterfest) today about the coolant bottle and other things and he notified me that they are working on a front mount Intercooler for the MCS. He hinted that it would mount above the A/c condensor and in front of the radiator. Hmmmm can't wait for more info.

Would this system look like the picture of some racing mini S that's floating around here somewhere?

Is it this car?
Front Mount intercooler

What is the advantage of a front mount intercooler in real numbers?

I would think that to compare the two, stock vs. front mount, you would have to dyno the car with a big fan blowing on the front of the vehicle to replicate driving situations , Right?
