Convergence of TSW and OBX?

I recently installed obx header and tsw springs on same date.I have developed a mysterious reverberation on left front of car(feels like right below drivers seat).Anyone know what the h#** this could be??
I thought it was heat shield-no,rubbing sensor,no- I wrapped the headers-still duhduhduhduhduhduhduh!!!!!
Anyone do these 2 mods at once?
By some strange chace have same prob?

ok, I'll give it a try...

the obx comes pretty close to the heat shield on the top of the steering rack, you might have a closer look at that. How tight did you make the spring bolts for the catalytic converter connection ? where did you position the springs on the bolts ?

One thing of slight interest.
THE NOTION that oem header bolts should only be used once
Would have been good to know before install.
Tomorrow-will check bolts,gasket
Wish I'd known about the Madness bolt kit......well s###!
After reading every header post known to man,I ran across one that mentioned this little factoid.
Hopefully my car isnt f##### because of a couple of bolts.

you dont have to change the header bolts, they will be fine. Just make sure you did not over tighten the spring bolts, you need to have atleast a couple of coils that are not fully compressed, because the springi-ness of those bolts IS the flex joint on the OBX style headers.

Don't sweat the header bolts...

but the heat sheild on mine needed some, uh, coersion to really fit well. Also, the heat sheilds in the tunnel can bend and distort a bit, rubbing against each other from whatever shaking, rattling and rolling is going on. While it sounds like a pain, it's not really, you may want to drop your struts to make sure the springs are well seated in the perches, and look for scuffing on the strut tower, especially the driver side. Also, check the drop-links as these make tons of noise if the bolts aren't torqued down well, but that's more a suspension rattle....
