I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to put a power shift kit on an automatic Mini Cooper. I would love any input from anyone who knows more about this than I.

...are you speaking on the level of a B&M Shift Kit for a Chevy TH350, Ford C4, and the like? The MINI Cooper has an optional CVT, or Continuously Variable Transmission. It doesn't have any gears, just a steel drive belt with two pairs of cones driven by servos that determine the ratio. It's an infinite ratio system, however there is a Steptronic mode that has 6 preset ratios.

A "shift kit" in the traditional sense is not relevant to a CVT.

Regards,
Ryan
