went back to the dyno today because Chris at Crazy Horse said the A/F machine had a problem on my run. Here is my chart. You can see that i am running super rich from 4.5k to 6.5k and the injectors can't keep up after that. I just ordered 380jcw. Do you think there would be more power if i got the car properly tuned?

There will definately be more power when you get it tuned with injectors, and the delivery and torque curve will be great, My buddy got a srt-4 yesterday and im running right next to him all day and hes got a few things.

You're running really lean... Eek. What kind of injectors are you using?
Holy crap... WAY lean . You're between 13 and 14 afr at redline. That's blown motor territory. I run between 10.8 and 11.5 at redline. The general consensus is that if you want to keep it safe, you need to be under 12. Get a tune on that thing and some bigger injectors before you blow your motor.
why be nervous...i rather be rich than lean. ur a/f should be tuned to your mods with the MTH program so i dont know why ur running rich....and if ur getting injectors id rec 400-440 rather than the jcw 380s being you have a 15% pulley with a 2% crank
14.7 is Stoichiometric, basically it's the most efficient "Best" AFR to run at. Outside influences such as temperature, and boost make this impossible on any forced induction motor. If it was NA, then yes, 14.5 or so is right where you want to be, but on a boosted motor, 14.8 at any significant RPM will blow your motor in no time.
FYI the higher the number the more "Lean" the engine is running. The number refers to 14.8 parts air mixed with 1 part fuel. The more air, the less fuel, so the more lean.

My car did the same thing on the dyno, Jan ended up pulling a TON of fuel out at those RPM's. We gained almost 50 ft/lbs of torque after 4k RPM's, and 42 wHP if I recall. We're still not sure what it was doing, intake temps were in check, so it wasn't trying to cool the charge. Some of the cars just do weird stuff. You could probably gain 15-20 peak HP from a tune, but with a graph like that, the meat is going to be from 4k-6k. 50 ft lbs of torque is PRETTY noticable .

It's just under 12 at the redline. It's a little easier to see on the actual sheet. I have stock injectors and they can't keep up when i get to 6.3krpm so i ordered 380s. From 4.7-6.4krpm the air fuel is less than 10. 50lbs of tq would be great to have.

Im also waiting for Jan....He said he should be back at Helix around late Spring. I shot him a PM just now to see if he has a better time frame on his arrival.
well see all this before i get my new parts gives me an idea. i currently have Alta CAI. im getting 15% pully, headers, and an exhaust. i want to get it on a dyno soon. so reading all this bout needing injectors, should i start lookin for some after the mods?
curv872 what kind of mods do you have with those #?
As for the 'strong' cars mentioned months ago...I have an Alta CAI, colder plugs and 17% and I had 3 pulls over 195whp on a dynoJet. top was 198.6 and then I one-balled so basically 200 I 'walk it out' on stock JCW R56s

I'm a little confused, the fuel/air ratio you show is plenty safe even at the top RPMs (12 is rich) so why are you thinking you need bigger injectors? (or is this in anticipation of a higher redline?)
Keep in mind, how much time are you spending at redline? Personally I might get near it once a week at max, but racers and autocrossers can sit at it for extended time periods.
