I wish we had the MINI tuning community you guys have in the States, in Australia!!!

dynapack software reads as flywheel on the graphs..... it's really at the hubs as you unbolt the wheels and bolt the car to the dyno

at what stage will the bangs per buck get silly with a stock motor ?

nice to see we got you out of the closet with your first post

we have put 500whp through a stock bottom end and found the weak leak is the pistons. At these hp levels the stock internals are still good.

Every time I read threads like this, I really have to wonder what went through the Mini engineers heads in so overbuilding and under-utilizing this engine, everywhere from the ECU map to the head design.

Speaking of swamps, rain much down there? And yes, we are trying to be patient but with threads like this it gets real hard .

120 Smiles Per Mile

I can vouch for Jan's belief in a 100% smile guarantee. I got my car tuned by the maestro just before Danny got his car done. Each time Jan loaded the software into my car and we ran it on the dyno again, he had the biggest smile on his face. Since I hadn't been at a tuning session previously, I didn't know enough to smile along. It wasn't until hitting the gas after the first stop sign after leaving the tuning shop that I understood. I had never kicked in the DSC on a straight-away before that moment. I immediately turned that sucker off and continued to smile for the entire ride home, which was about 75 miles of freeway.

If it's called the jesus head, maybe Jan should be called jesus. I'll be posting my results in the RMW tuning results thread later today. If you haven't seen Jan yet, you haven't really driven your MINI. Do it! You know you want it!

Rebuilt after Danny's car went at SOW? What turned out to be the cause of the blow?

Great work with the M45! Can't image what universe the Rotrex will lead MINI's too. The Coopers are gonna be giant killers.

I just got the title of the thread, duh!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is a comparison of the stroker engine with stock JCW pulley vs Danny's beast We changed to a different collector and gained 3 ft. lbs peak over our last dyno with 5-7ft lbs in different places throughout the torque curve. Also gained 6whp up top

What's the difference in stroke of this stroker moter(I know proprietary info-haha)compared to stock? Offset ground crank, different crank, shortie pistons, longish rods or???
