Reliable MINI Service in Cleveland Ohio
Help
I had a service engine soon light come on today, not sure what it is, but given that I have a few mods on the '06 I am prepared for the dealer to tell me its not covered under warranty. I will offer that I just moved to Cleveland from FL and was wondering if I should have the oil changed with a lower viscosity lubricant. Just wondering, but since I need to have this checked out I need someone reliable, and especially someone who won't work me over too bad
Thanks in Advance

I'm sure it all depends on what "a few mods" are, but Classic MINI out in Mentor has been very good to me. I'd at least give that a shot unless it's something obviously caused by a mod. As far as oil, 5w30 should be just fine, are you running something thicker right now?

As Jason said, Classic hasn't been bad about mods on a car. It might help if you can get the code read at Autozone or one of those. At least you'll have some idea what the problem might be and can then decide if it might be related to a mod you did.
