I'll be installing an alta intake system and I'm wondering if I have to be concerned about water getting sucked in by the engine while I drive in the rain ?????

i swear someone just asked this question. the answer was that those who have had it have no problems with water. i believe there answer was that the heat shield prevented it. I would do a quick search and maybe you will find the thread.

Correct, With the exception of the working end of the Alta filter the rest is sealed off from the engine compartment.
