obx header question

Ive done my research but the one think i cant seem to figure out is what to weld on to the stock cat in order for it to be hooked up to the exhaust? I mean is it something i have to buy seperatley? Some mentioned it is a supplied flange, but if you use the supplied flange than how do you connect the cat to the header? Im confused, if someone could fill me in i would greatly appreciate it, thanks. Pictures help!

The header comes with a stainless steel adapter that gets welded to the stock cat after cutting off the original "header" and pre-cat.
