There's a nice clip of an MCS accelerating away from the camera on the Billy Boat site:

http://www.bbexhaust.com/car/cooper/ (Click the "Cooper S Drive Off" photo on the right)

I hadn't heard of Billy Boat before today when I was going through Youtube. The exhaust sounds really nice, but it better when you consider it costs over $900.

imthing1, are you still liking the B&B exhaust? I heard good things about it during MITM3 this past weekend.
Anyone else out there running one? I know it's pricey, but if I hadn't "played" with all of my "custom" ideas,
I would be closer to this price. At least now I know what I don't want. Thanks.
Bryan.

I had a Billie Boat on my 05 MCSC and loved it - and so did everyone else who heard it Had a great sound to it However, I recently traded the 05 in for a 09 JCW, so I took it off before trading. Now it's awaiting installation on a friends 04 MCS

How did I miss this thread? I've had my B&B since November 2006. As you can see, it's the single tip. I like it a lot. It's got a good sound at idle, cruising and especially when you are at WOT and build quality is really good. On the other hand it's a little heavier that some other exhausts out there. I also get a lot of compliments on the look of it. I don't often see many MINIs out there running a big single tip.

I haven't noticed any. If there ever was I've adjusted to it.

I've had the BnB for a few years now. I had some issues with it but my car is very modified. the folks there have been very helpful with fixing everything.

Sorry it took so long to answer back.

I got it here, in the marketplace, NIB. There was someone unloading a pair for a really good price and I couldn't say no.

Nice! Thats what the JCW exhaust should have sounded like. I had Billy Boat on 93 325is back in 94, did not know they made for MINI.

Any new info, comments, issues, etc. on the Billy Boat exhaust?

I noticed that my stock exhaust is rusting through on one side, so I need to look for a replacement.

They were great at deepening the sound of the E46 M3s raspy factory exhaust.
