After browsing the forums about control arms I have a question I haven't found an answer to. Have any of the aftermarket companies come out or are planning on coming out with adjustable arms complete with the mount for the DSC/yaw sensor? Could a mount be added to any of the arms presently on the market?

I read about cable tying it on, but would like something a bit more, how do you say, refined. I know these arms were primarily designed for the track guys, but there's a lot of people lowering their cars that never see the track. I've also read that this sensor controls the self leveling headlights too, so even if I wasn't worried about keeping the DSC working properly, I'd sure hate to lose the headlight control.

Any thoughts or unpublished facts out there? Or, do i settle on just replacing the lower arms and living with the toe-in problem?

I dug up this thread to see if anyone knows any more about it.
I was just gonna make a custom mount for the yaw sensor, but if there is one out there some where, I would use that one.

So no one with DSC has replaced their rear arms?

As far as I know those are for the self leveling headlights and have nothing to do with DSC. That DSC sensor is under the carpet just in front of the hand brake.

If you want to keep these headlight things you can just remove the mount of the stock arm and hose clamp it to the aftermarket arm.

I have done it

The "device" is for headlight level not DSC
I have adjustable upper and lower arms.
The problem is that the arm itself spins to do your adjustment, so a bracket will not always be in the same place.

I split a piece of rubber hose and slipped it over the arm.
A hoseclamp holds a "L" bracket (about 1" x 1")
after setting the camber, I actually adjusted the headlights with the bracket by rotating it to move the sensor arm. Once correct tighten the clamp and good to go!

Now as I adjust the camber for track / street I can eyeball the angle needed. I have that down to 1 1/2 turns on the camber adjuster.

Not perhaps the "high tech" answer that you wanted but it does work.

If you "just clamp the bracket" it will be all twisted and way out of wack to level the headlights.

You are absolutly right, and your post above is the 'right' way to do what I simply explained. I did it this way at first (your way), but after so many track adjustments I could of cared less just where my headlights were pointing,as long as it was close ...

Thanks bpago,
I appreciate you chiming in. Homemade is sometimes better than high tech.

I too made my own bracket as no one had anything available.
But I have toyed with the idea of just removing the sensor.
What happens to the h/lamp adjustment if I do?
I would still do some street driving, but not a lot.

Sounds like the best thing for you to do is remove the self leveling headlights all together and install lighter basic ones. Can also be a way to pick up some extra cash for some neato track parts ...
