I notice that some have the whole rod and others are just an extention of the bottom pivot. My question: do the whole rod ones (B&M, Alta) lengthen the oblique arm also? Wouldn't this shorten side-to-side throw also? is it even possible with the room in that little case? Just a thought. Thanks in advance,
