Yep and you don't really have a TC car with a FMIC.
RMW, most of the reports I've seen are for MCSs with at least the usual pulley, intake, and exhaust mods. What kind of gains have you seen on a stock motor or one with just a pulley mod? I have a bone-stock '05 MCS but I'm thinking of doing just a 15% pulley. Also, how are software updates handled if I decide to add additional mods in the future? I'm in the PNW and am interested in a tuning party up here!

While a pulley is a step forward, the reality is that the pulley, cai and exhaust are the ideal combo. Your spooling up more so facilitating inhale and exhale of the engine helps. Now from a CAI perspective you could just go to a freer flow stock filter and exhaust wise you could just do a 1-ball.
To answer your tuning question - well Jan offers a custom tune to your current configuration. Change the configuration, you MAY need to change the tune. This could be accomplished by getting on the dyno again or sending Jan you ECU for an update. How its updated will be determined by the changes you make. I'm sure Jan will make the right recommendation.

Thanks for the suggestions and info. If anything I'll probably go with a panel filter replacement in the stock airbox. Since the MCS is my daily driver, I'll probably keep the exhaust stock from a NVH perspective. I don't need more noise on my daily commute and occasional roadtrips. My main objective is for improved driveability, not maximum power gains. I think a pulley and freer flowing air filter element will suit me just fine.
