Got some questions

Hello everyone, i have a few questions on some upgrades im planning on doing.

First off i will be doing a 16% supercharger pulley, what im wondering is what kind of gains should i expect from just this upgrade?

Secondly i will be doing a alta cai, and for this im wondering what my gains will be from this coupled with the supercharger pulley?

I kind of have an idea but i just want to get some more in depth info. Thanks in advance, you guys have been a great help so far in the mini venture. thanks again.

Although my '05 MCS is geared differently than your '02, I've got the M7 16% pulley and Alta CAI and it pulls hard and fast--most MCS owners that drive my car notice a considerable difference from their OEM MCS and this was before I added an exhaust which is an Invidia. I haven't dyno'd it to know--but its probably atleast a 20hp combined increase. Having come from an '03 Cooper, the power difference was obviously pretty substantial to the pulleyed MCS--took a long time to get used to the torque steer, though now I toss it around like I did my Cooper---after a year of driving it.

I pretty much feel the only next significant power mod I will do next will be a performance head.

After the pulley, CAI, and exhaust, get a dyno tune from RMW or LDG. It is next on my list.

Yeah, in fact I scheduled my tune with RMW yesterday after seeing a post on another '05ers results. Didn't realize a tune could make such a difference after never getting very much from MTH years ago...
