the bumper isn't too hard to remove but it's not so easy putting back on....i've never worked on cars but was able to pull mine off and back on in an afternoon....i broke some clips on the arches, but found perfect replacements at Ace Hardware...good luck

Adam, have you had a chance to see the advantages the intercooler adds with your ECU and the JCW kit since they are basically hopefully doing about the same thing for the car. What difference do you think we can expect from the OEM unit and should it effect our lovely LITTLE turbo unit any...I am so totally happy with the car now,but if this last addition will help let the little sucker breath better than why not... Once again congrats on the new baby and Happy New Year...

Hey thanks Mark! The little guy is doing great! Love working from home to enjoy the little bugger!

The IC will help do two things. One, allow the power you have to remain for a longer period of time. Second it will make MORE power as it can cool the air better than the OE unit. On the dyno the results are pretty dramatic as shown in the plots.

I can have Jeff do some before and after testing with the ECU, and the ic on and off. Should be soon. Since Howard sold, and the yellow mule has the turbo kit on it, I might have to borrow another car, or wait a week or so for the Clubman to get here.

Thanks again! Chat soon!

Thanks Adam, glad your enjoying the good life at home...I will talk to you about this and see what the affect across the board will be,the car is stupid fun now and plenty fast but this could be a good way to finish the engine...It's not quite the Turbo we discussed but it sure is fun...I will check to see if you have them in stock..I just got the Boost gauge which I can install at the same time over at Mini Corsa ...One question I hate to ask is will Mini give me any grief about this addition,The Tech guy at the dealer loved the engine with tubes and the diverter, but will the IC be a happy addition with the JCW kit...I am not really worried about the waranty issues but I don't need to upset the apple cart so to speak...take care

Thanks Scott,I appreciate the input...Should be a good addition. The engine sounds great now with the growl that tubes added and this should make it even better...The ECU seems to adapt with every addition and this is one great little car...to much fun
